Summer Theatre Program Intern
(Paid Internship)

Join JFS’ Performing Arts and Learning (PAL) Program and help young students develop a passion for theatre! Seeking to hire 2-3 interns (Directors and Assistant Directors) who are passionate about performing arts and working with young people.

The PAL program is a brand new, innovative program that will expose incoming 5th grade students from JFS’ Reducing Achievement Gaps initiative (Wilson Elementary School) to the world of performing arts. Additionally, the program will have an educational component to help students stay prepared for the next school year.

This is an excellent college resume building opportunity. Will expose the intern to working with a diverse student population and demonstrate the intern’s passion for performing arts and spreading that passion to students that would otherwise not have such an opportunity. Interviews will be conducted.  Specifics:

  • Program will run from July 4-July 29, 2016, 9a-12p. Monday-Thursday.
  • Experience in Theatre and desire to teach incoming 5th grade students.
  • Program will take place at Amazing Things in downtown Framingham, MA
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Pay will be $10/hour.
